PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring paper diameter of paper supply equipment is provided to accurately know a time for exchanging a paper roll by moving a touch roller according to the decrease of paper diameter. CONSTITUTION: In paper supply equipment including bracketing parts bracketing a paper roll at two blocks(10,12) moving right and left by a motor(17), and rotating a bracket(16) of one bracketing part by a driving motor(15), an apparatus for measuring paper diameter includes a bracket link(37) axially supported by the other bracketing part in the middle part to be rotatively installed, a touch roller(44) rotatively installed at one side of the bracket link, a plurality of sensors(46) installed at the other bracketing part(21) to sense the bracket link, and a control part stopping the rotation of the driving motor if the lowest sensor senses the bracket link.
