<p>Solid mixture (A) comprises 96-98, preferably 97-98 wt.% sodium hydroxide, and 2-4, preferably 2-3 wt.% oxidant selected from alkali nitrite, alkali nitrate, alkali chlorate and alkali perchlorate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a liquid aqueous mixture comprising 1-80, especially 55-65 wt.% sodium hydroxide and 99-20, especially 45-35 wt.% oxidant selected from alkali nitrite, alkali nitrate, alkali chlorate and alkali perchlorate; (b) a two component system for producing and regenerating a burnishing bath; and (c) a process for the production and regeneration of a burnishing bath.</p> |
