The machine has a pole rotor whose shaft carries two pole plates with peripheral pole fingers and a stimulation winding between the pole plates with at least one end connected to a bus bar by a connecting vane. The bus bar (33) is connected to a slip ring arrangement (19) on the rotor shaft and is embedded in insulating material. The connecting vane (34) is arranged in a pole root (23a) between two adjacent pole fingers (24) of the rear pole plate (23), is insulated with respect to it and is contacted by one end (21a) of the stimulation winding (21).
