The slide-in support system for the transporting of bicycles has a profile system carrier (1) to support the bicycle (9) and by means of a guide unit is movable between a transporting position inside the load holding space of an estate car (14) and a withdrawn horizontal loading or unloading position outside the load holding space. The support system comprises at least two base profile struts and at least one guide unit which is movable at right angles to the struts. The profile system carrier consists of two sections which are connected by a hinge.
