MINI-CAB SERVICE METHOD USING LOCATION INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A mini-cab service method using location information is provided to allow a location information management server to deliver information through a short message only to mini-cabs existing in an area identical to the location of a customer. CONSTITUTION: A customer transmits a short message to a mini-cab company using a mobile communication terminal(S10). When the short message passes a BS(Base Station) and an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) and is delivered to an SMSC(Short Message Service Center), mini-cab numbers are inquired to a location information management server(S20). The location information management server inquires the location of the customer mobile communication terminal(S30). The location information management server checks over whether mini-cabs exist within the area of the customer stored in a location information management database(S40). If so, the location information management server transmits a telephone list of the mini-cabs to the SMSC(S50). The SMSC collectively transmits a short message to telephone numbers on the list(S60). And a mini-cab having vacant seats and movable to a destination among the mini-cabs receiving the short message sends a call to the customer mobile communication terminal or responds to the mobile communication terminal using a message(S70).
