A pressure resistance evaluation method for an inflator housing forming the outer shell container of various inflators capable of evaluating a pressure resistance by using an easy method, comprising the steps of, after filling water into the inflator housing through a small hole provided in the inflator housing until a pressure inside the inflator housing reaches a specified pressure as an evaluation standard, holding the pressure by plugging the small hole or raising the pressure to the specified pressure by filling waste into the inflator housing, draining the filled water from the inflator housing, and drying the inside of the inflator housing.
