A pressure-activated self-opening cartridge nozzle (10) having a sharpened circular edge of serrations (18) disposed under the bottom side (36) of the base (32) of the top under the side wall of the nozzle (26) is disclosed for use with a cartridge containing filler material for use with an applicator gun, such cartridge of the type wherein a foil seal (12) is disposed above 5 the filler material in the barrel (28) and beneath the nozzle whereby the fo il seal can be punctured by pressurizing the filler material which action cause s the foil seal to move into contact with the sharpened circular edge of serrations of the nozzle to puncture the foil seal.
