A safety net for construction sites has a square mesh (2) with an edge rope threaded through the edge apertures and secured by whipping. The whipping is also stitched through the edge rope in places. The corners of the net are formed by curved sections of the edge rope. The completed net panel is secured into support frames, scaffolding etc. via securing hooks and other suitable fastenings.
