The hand drilling machine has a housing (2), on which a rear hand grip (5) is fitted and an accommodation (9) for an earth drill (10) driven by an internal combustion engine in the housing. The earth drill is imbalanced by means of an appropriately applied mass (16). The drilling machine has a second hand grip (6), extending laterally from the housing. The second hand grip is fixed between the accommodation for the earth drill and the machine housing. It has a rotary axis (27) of the accommodation for the earth drill. The rod is releasably fixed to the drilling machine.
