A picture window has an interior lighting arrangement for decorative purposes in which two mutually parallel motive plates are joined together by a spacer-retainer (3). A holding piece (2) is arranged on the inner face of each motive plate (1) to enable a retainer element (6) joined to the lighting device to grip into the holding piece (2) so that this unit simultaneously forms the suspension for the picture window.
