The invention a peptide derived from sequence diphtheria anatoxin comprising at least a cysteine residue, characterised in that said peptide has at least one sequence identical with the sequence of said diphtheria anatoxin and further comprises a deletion of at least a cysteine residue, as well as the use of such a peptide for preparing a vaccine designed for prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of viral, bacterial, parasitic or fungal infections or for preparing a vaccine for prophylactic or therapeutic treatment of cancers.
