Print head holder for receiving an ink jet printer head

The print head holder is adapted to be fastened to a frame (1) of an inkjet printer unit, the frame being arranged transverse to the conveying direction (3) of print material (2) to be printed. The print head holder (6) has a hinge device (15) which enables the print head (7) to be pivotable about several axes. Several alignment devices may be provided to define respective pivot axes for the print head. Independent claims also cover an ink jet printer having such a holder.
