A saw blade (10,40,60) for a reciprocating saw apparatus having first (12,42,62) and second (14,44,64) longitudinal edges and first (16,46,66) and second (20,50,70) opposite ends. The saw blade (10,40,60) is provided at its first end (16,46,66) with an attachment element (18,48,68) for attaching the blade to a power unit. The first (12,42,62) and second (14,44,64) longitudinal edges of the blade are toothed, the teeth (30,32) of the first and second longitudinal edges being raked towards the first end of the saw blade. The second end of the blade is toothed and is rounded (22,52,72). |
