A hemostatic skin plaster having a discrete form comprises a monolayer polymer film (I) in which at least one adstringent and/or hemostatic active agent (A) is dissolved or dispersed. An Independent claim is also included for the production of the plaster, by dissolving, emulsifying or dispersing the polymer(s) and (A) in an aqueous solvent, applying the mixture to a carrier (preferably having adhesive properties) and evaporating the solvent.
