PURPOSE: An advertising system using a keyboard vertical monitor is provided to utilize a space between a keyboard and a monitor by mounting a small-sized keyboard vertical monitor which is vertically protruded at one side of the keyboard and displaying an advertisement being supplied through an advertisement video controller or graphic accelerator on a keyboard monitor which is vertically protruded on the keyboard. CONSTITUTION: A user computer includes a CPU for an advertisement which receives and processes only advertisement data from the Internet, and a keyboard operation unit and a video controller capable of transmitting/receiving key input data and image data to a keyboard. The user computer is connected to the Internet and receives a plurality of advertisements. A web server for an advertisement is connected to the user computer through the Internet, stores an advertisement file received from a plurality of advertiser servers, and supplies the advertisement file to the user computer. A keyboard(20) is connected to the keyboard operation unit and the video controller through a communication cable capable of transmitting/receiving image data, loads a keyboard vertical monitor(21) which is vertically protruded at one side of the rear end of a function key arrangement unit, receives an advertisement from the user computer through the communication cable, and displays the advertisement. A camera(22) is mounted on the upper end of the keyboard vertical monitor(21) and is connected to the video controller through the communication cable, and transmits image data to the user computer.
