A two-handed cutting tool comprises a first cutting element and a second cutting element. The first cutting element includes a first handle (12) coupled to a first blade (28) and the second cutting element includes a second handle (14) coupled to a second blade (30). The first and second cutting element are coupled together so that the first (28) and second (30) blades are actuable between an open position and a closed position when the handles (12,14) are operated towards and away from each other in an operating plane.
