<p>The invention concerns a cutting instrument comprising a body (1), provided with a cutting edge (5) articulated on said body. The planar body (1), with rectangular or square shape similar to that of a credit card or smart card, defines a slot adapted to receive the cutting edge (5). The body (1) is provided with a bore (15) substantially perpendicular to the plane defined by the slot, and designed to receive the end of the product to be cut when the cutting edge (5) projects outside said slot, the downward movement thereof inside the slot effectively cutting the product.
