<p>The invention concerns a method for capturing a digital panoramic image, by projecting a panorama on an image sensor using a fish-eye lens having a constant field of view relative to its optical axis, the image sensor being rectangular in shape. The invention is characterised in that the fish-eye lens is designed to project on the image sensor, without reducing the photographing field, a deformed panoramic image (ID1) which covers on the sensor a number of pixels greater than the number of pixels which would be covered on a picture disc. The invention enables to enhance definition in a useful zone of the image, in particular to enhance the quality of digital zooms.</p> |
