<p>An alkaline earth metal-basic silicate particle, characterized in that it comprises an alkaline earth metal hydroxide particle and, caused to be present on the surface thereof, an alkaline earth metal silicate, and has a SiO2/MO mole ratio, wherein M is an alkaline earth metal, ranging from 0.01 to 0.90 as the resultant total particle. The particle is useful as a stabilizer for a chlorine-containing polymer.</p> |
