PURPOSE: A priming pump of a diesel engine is provided to increase the capacity of pumping by forming a cascade piston in the priming pump and lengthening the stroke of the piston. CONSTITUTION: In a priming pump(70) of a diesel engine, a second cylinder(72) is installed to slide in a first cylinder(71). A piston(75) has a protruded handle(74), and is contained in the second cylinder. The whole stroke of the piston is equal to the sum of the stroke of the first cylinder and the stroke of the second cylinder when feeding the piston.
