PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a baseband power in a transmission power automatic gain control circuit is provided to accurately control a gain of a wireless modulating unit by providing a power measuring signal measured through baseband digital data to an automatic gain control circuit. CONSTITUTION: A log scale converter(521a) receives digital data outputted from a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) baseband signal processing unit and outputs a log value corresponding to the received digital data. A motion average filter(521b) averages the log values per a uniform interval, and outputs a power average value. An offset canceling unit(521c) adjusts an offset of the power average value and outputs measurement data. A measurement data storing unit(521d) stores the measurement data. A digital/analog converter(522) converts the measurement data into an analog signal and outputs the analog signal. An amplifier(523) amplifies the analog signal and outputs the amplified analog signal to an automatic gain control circuit.
