PURPOSE: An MP3 player using radio communication and a method for playing the MP3 player are provided to continuously play MP3 files without restricting a storage space of the MP3 player. CONSTITUTION: An MP3 player(4) includes a bluetooth module(2), a memory block(3), a microcomputer(5), and a DSP(Digital Signal Processor) chip(7). The bluetooth module transmits and receives radio communication signals including MP3 files through a bluetooth module(13) of an external storage device(1). The memory block stores the MP3 files downloaded through the bluetooth module, dividing the MP3 files by memory regions. The microcomputer controls the MP3 file storing function and the entire operation of the MP3 player. The DSP chip reproduces the MP3 files stored in the memory block into sound signals according to a reproduction control signal of the microcomputer.
