The floor sections (1, 2) are joined side by side using a male and female profile system (3, 4), the profiles being designed so that they can be fixed together by pushing together and rotating them in one direction, or detached by rotating them in the opposite direction and pulling them apart. In the end position (6) the two profiles are fixed into place by the weight of the floor sections.
