t is disclosed a method for the lining of underground pipes by introduction of a new liner pipe made of polyethylene and having circular cross section and external diameter equal to, or slightly different from, the internal diameter of the old pipe. Before being introduced into the old pipe, the new one should be temporally deformed so that a H-like cross section is formed along its required length to reduce its dimensions. The temporally deformed liner pipe is easily introduced into the old one by traction or propulsion; due to the applied hydraulic pressure, it returns to its initial circular form and adjoins, completely, the inner walls of the old pipe. The deformation work can be achieved in a factory, or in situ. |
