PURPOSE: A direction control valve of air conditioner used for both heating and cooling is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and to prevent hitch. CONSTITUTION: A direction control valve comprises a fluid guiding plate(100) having a fixing protrusion(110) formed on a lower end thereof outwardly protrusively and a first discharge path(120) and a second discharge path(130) placed in the fixing protrusion to be connected with a first fluid transfer tube(120a) and a second fluid transfer tube(130a) so as to discharge fluid in only one direction; an opening and closing plate(200) installed to a bottom of the fluid guiding plate to be rotatable and having a guide groove(220) formed on one side thereof to be tightly joined to the fixing protrusion and rotate leftward or rightward according to discharging direction of fluid of the first discharge path and the second discharge path; a closing surface and an opening groove(210) formed on the opening and closing plate to open or close one of a path A(310) and a path B(320) as the opening and closing plate is moved leftward or rightward by the guide groove; a connecting tube(400) placed on the middle of the bottom of the opening and closing plate and having a connecting path(410) formed on a side opposite to the opening groove to connect a load side port B and a drain port R or a load side port A and the drain port R; and a supporting plate(300) on which a path C(330) formed on the middle thereof for the connecting tube to be inserted thereto, the path A and the path B are linearly arranged.
