PURPOSE: A system and method for managing a theme park is provided to manage a theme park effectively based on an analysis of data accumulated in a database by enabling a client to enter the theme park and to use a service using a smart card, accumulating services received using the smart card in real time, and storing the amount of service in a database. CONSTITUTION: A network(100) connects computers thereto globally. A service provider server(110) generally manages data of a theme park managing system. In the case that a real time data communication is not available between the service provider server(110) and an entrance permission reader terminal(120) or a game instrument usage permission reader terminal(130), a memory card is used for temporarily storing data being received through a contact/non-contact reader. A game instrument vending machine(150) is provided for charging game instrument rental right information in the smart card. A web game instrument vending machine(140) charges a game instrument rental right using a web browser. A credit card company server(160) authenticates a payment in the case that a credit card is used for charging a game instrument rental right. A VAN company server(170) integrally manages a credit card transaction in the case that a game instrument rental right is charged in the smart card using a credit card. A bank server(180) approves a payment in the case that a game instrument rental right is charged using a bank card.
