<p>An eye monitor (3) for evaluating a binary input signal (Uin) of a transmission link and for recognizing the edges of an eye diagram of the input signal (Uin) is described. A decision circuit (12) is provided which is directly connected to an integrator (14). The input signal (Uin) and a variable threshold (Uvar) are provided to the decision circuit (12). An output signal (Ueyenew) of the integrator (14) is used to recognize the edges of the eye diagram. <IMAGE></p> |
