PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same, and a projector using the LCD are provided to distribute and shield the heat generated by the energy of a light source of a projector and absorbed by the LCD. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel having a first transparent substrate(220b) formed with pixel electrodes and switching elements connected to the pixel electrodes, a second transparent substrate(220a) formed with counter electrodes facing the pixel electrodes and facing the first substrate with a predetermined distance from the first substrate, and liquid crystal materials(200) implanted between the substrates, and a light transmitting material(250) coated on the outside of the liquid crystal panel by a predetermined thickness of 1mm-4mm, and a connector(300) is attached to an end of the first substrate.
