PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to simplify assembly procedures and achieve an in-advance prevention against short of coil of convergence unit during the assembly. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a coil separator(10), horizontal and vertical deflection coils, a rear cover(17), a plurality of support ribs(30), and a terminal board(35). The coil separator(10) includes a screen part(11) and a rear plate(12). The horizontal and vertical deflection coils are arranged onto inner and outer surfaces of the coil separator to form horizontal and vertical deflection magnetic fields. The rear cover(17) is coupled to the outer surface of the rear plate and has a space formed within the rear cover. The support ribs(30) are integrated with the inner upper surface of the rear cover to fix a convergence unit(20) wound with a plurality of coils(21) correcting the distortion on a screen. The terminal board(35) is coupled to the inner surface of the rear cover, which connects each coil of the convergence unit to a lead wire(23) for receiving power from an external source and prevents short and/or disconnection of coil.
