PURPOSE: A substrate for LCD device, an LCD, and an electronic apparatus are provided to realize a structure having the brightness in reflective display and transmissive display in a higher dimension. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(211) has a reflective layer formed on the first substrate, and the reflective layer has one aperture formed in the reflective layer at each pixel. The reflective layer has coloring layers formed on the reflective layer, and the coloring layers have an overcoat layer formed on the coloring layers. The overcoat layer has apertures directly on the corresponding apertures. Liquid crystal lies in surface depressions.
