PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to automatically compensate an internal deviation of a parasitic capacitance by providing compensating patterns to capacitor electrodes, thereby keeping the voltage drop(ΔVp) in a panel uniformly, and resolving the problems of the flickering, the after-images and the non-uniformity in the brightness. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of gate wires(21) formed on a first substrate in a line and having at least one or more first compensating patterns, data wires(24) intersecting the gate wires, capacitor electrodes(24c) formed on a predetermined portion on the gate wires and having at least one or more second compensating patterns, thin film transistors formed on the intersections between the gate and data wires, pixel electrodes(29) connected to the thin film transistors, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first and second substrates.
