摘要 PURPOSE: A device for automatically calibrating a light source for discriminating the sweetness of fruits is provided to improve the precision of the sweetness discrimination by measuring and analyzing the light energy reflected from both surfaces of a fruit. CONSTITUTION: A device for automatically calibrating a light source for discriminating the sweetness of fruits includes light induction parts(12) for inducing light emitted from a light source to a position where a measurement sample is put, light emitting and receiving assemblies(14) for radiating the light induced to the light induction parts positioned toward the light measurement sample and receiving the light, a light source path shield element(20) mounted between the light induction parts for selectively shielding the path of the light emitted from the light source, and a photodetector for analyzing spectrum for discriminating the sweetness and acidity of the sample by calculating the intensity of the light received by the light emitting and receiving assemblies, and controlling the light source path shield element to shield the light path if the intensity of the received light decreases gradually.
