PURPOSE: A cutting tool is provided to maximize the using life and the cutting efficiency by smoothly discharging generated chips. CONSTITUTION: A body(10) of a cutting tool is produced by a cemented tungsten carbide. A blade(12) having plural spiral grooves(11) is formed in the lower circumference of the body. A chip pocket(13) is formed in the sides of the blade to discharge chips generated at a processing. A lower blade(14) as the end of the blade is inclined at 3 degrees to process a point hole. A helix angle as an inclined angle(15) of the spiral groove is formed at 15 degrees. Thereby, the using life and the cutting efficiency are maximized, the replacing time of the tool is reduced and the productivity is increased.
