OPTICAL DISC CHANGER

PURPOSE: An optical disc changer is provided to absorb shocks generated when a tray is loaded or unloaded using one damping means. CONSTITUTION: An optical disc changer(200) includes a main body(210), a tray(250), a roulette(260), an optical pick-up unit(220), and a damping unit(240). The tray is set slidably into the inside of the changer along a guide path prepared in the main body. The roulette is placed rotatably on the tray. A plurality of optical discs are mounted on roulette. The optical pick-up unit selectively plays the plurality of optical discs mounted on the roulette. The damping unit absorbs shocks generated while the tray is loaded into and unloaded from the main body to prevent the optical discs from erroneous playing. The damping unit includes a plate(241) extended from one side of a through hole formed in the main body and a damper(243) set on the plate to absorb shocks.
