PURPOSE: A high speed washing method for a washing machine is provided to improve the washing degree of clothing in the high speed washing mode by rotating a washing tub right and left for predetermined times to move clothing from the wall surface of the washing tub to the center of the washing tub to be provided with the water drained in intermediate dehydration. CONSTITUTION: A high speed washing method for a washing machine includes the steps of carrying out the first intermediate dehydration by draining water after the washing mode is finished(309), rotating a washing motor right and left for the first predetermined time period to move clothing from the wall surface of a washing tub into the center of the washing tub(311,313), carrying out the second intermediate dehydration by supplying water after the first time period(315), rotating the washing motor right and left during the second predetermined time period after the second intermediate dehydration(317,319), carrying out a third intermediate dehydration by supplying water after the second time period(321), and carrying out rinsing motor after the third intermediate dehydration and dehydration mode after draining of the rinsing water(323,325). |
