METHOD FOR PREVENTING ILLEGAL COPY OF SOFTWARE USING IC CHIP BUILT-IN CARD AND IC CHIP BUILT-IN CARD FOR PREVENTING ILLEGAL COPY OF SOFTWARE

PURPOSE: A method for preventing an illegal copy of a software using an IC chip built-in card and the IC chip built-in card are provided to protect an intellectual property right of software by preventing an illegal copy of the software and approving a usage right of the software through an IC chip built-in card including a CPU. CONSTITUTION: In an IC chip built-in card(1) including a memory unit for storing data and an input/output interface of the data and an IC chip built-in card read/writer which performs an electromagnetic connection to other system for reading data, a software license memory unit(70) is read by the IC chip built-in card read/writer, checks a software license, and includes information data of a software license for making a software be installed and executed in a client computer, a local server, or a software purchase company. The IC chip built-in card(1) includes a CPU, at least one masking memory unit for storing information data of the software license as a non-readable code, and a crypt co-processor(60) or a software crypt module(80) which performs an algorithm for reading data capable of being authenticated or decoded by only corresponding software. Information data of a plurality of software licenses are stored in the software license memory unit(70).
