PURPOSE: A system for searching a trademark is provided to forecast a registration possibility rate of a trademark to be applied by disjointing the trademark into each meaning group, disjointing each meaning group into each phoneme, and comparing the trademark with phonemes of each meaning group of conventional trademarks when a name or a commodity with respect to the trademark is inputted. CONSTITUTION: In a system for searching a trademark using a trademark or a commodity inputted by a user, a conventional trademark DB(11) includes conventional trademarks which were applied previously and maintained a pending state or registered, meaning groups with respect to conventional trademarks, and phonemes with respect to the meaning groups. A phoneme disjointing module(17) disjoints a meaning group inputted by the user into each phoneme unit. A difference rate judging module(19) compares a phoneme of a meaning group of the trademark with a phoneme according to meaning groups of the conventional trademarks and judges a difference rate. A meaning group disjointing module(16) disjoints the trademark inputted by the user into meaning groups.
