PURPOSE: An apparatus for relay charge for DOD(Direct Outward Dialing), a system and a method thereof are provided to easily use a digital line for DOD without updating or exchanging the existing LE. CONSTITUTION: A trunk interface module(310) is respectively connected to a PBX(Private Branch Exchange)(210), an LE(Local Exchange) or a toll/tandem exchange belong to a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network)(250) for transmitting call signals. A signal processing module(320) is connected with the trunk interface module(310) and takes charge of signal processing required for setting a call between the PBX(210) and the LE or the toll/tandem exchange. A data base(290) stores an extension number connected to the PBX(210) and mapping information of an outward calling number corresponding to the extension number. A call processing module(330) executes a CCF(Call Control Function) to receive the call signal connection-requested by a user through a DOD line, and transmits the outward calling number in connecting a call by mapping the originating extension number to the outward calling number registered at the data base. A call record managing and charge information generating module(340) generates CDR(Call Detailed Record), generates charge information based on the generated CDR, and transmits the generated charge information.
