PURPOSE: A method for transmitting PM(Performance Monitoring) data between a multi-shelf and a management unit is provided to determine a transmission time and transmit accumulated performance monitoring data per a set period in each shelf. CONSTITUTION: If a reference time is reached, a process of a main function unit calculates an extraction time, adds the extraction time to the reference time, and calculates a data transmission time(S520). The process of the main function unit transmits PM data to a management unit in a time in which its data transmission time is reached through a time coefficient(S530). If the transmission of the PM data succeeds(S540), the process of the main function unit gathers the PM data until a next reference time elapses(S510).
