DEGASSING APPARATUS FOR COATING SOLUTION

PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus to remove air bubbles generated in the process of applying the coating solution in paper manufacture. Thereby, without a large pressure-enhancing procedure, at least 0.2 mm air bubbles are removed to maintain the quality and workability of a coating solution supply unit as well as to prevent the partial coating defect by air bubbles. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is positioned between a coater(12) and a pressure screen(14) to effectuate the degassing. In the apparatus, a plurality of bodies(30) are connected in parallel onto a frame(20) having an inlet(21), an outlet(22) and a rejector(23) and the air bubbles from the coating solution injected through the inlet(21) are separated to discharge to rejector(23). The apparatus separate the coating solution and the air bubbles by using a centrifugal structure to form a jet vortex.
