PURPOSE: A single conversion cable MODEM tuner is provided to strengthen a function of shielding an external noise by making downstream and upstream circuits in one chassis. CONSTITUTION: A high-pass filter(110) filters an input signal downed through an internet connection cable, and an amplifier(120) amplifies the output signal of the high-pass filter(110). A single conversion tuner(130) performs a variable tuning operation with respect to the output signal of the amplifier(120) based on each channel. An upstream amplification IC(140) receives a modified digital signal via a balanced input terminal and adjusts a gain of a received signal. A Balloon transformer(150) matches a balanced output of the IC(140) with an output terminal, and a low-pass filter(160) filters the output of the transformer(150).
