PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding vinegared rice rolled in laver capable of molding vinegared rice rolled in laver with various thicknesses in the identical mold. SOLUTION: This apparatus for molding vinegared rice rolled in laver comprises a pair of two molding upper molds 14 and 15 formed to the same shape by setting an inclined surface 21 from above to below outside and symmetrically arranged by engaging guide rollers 27 and 28 axially supported on both right and left ends on a guide rail 13 long and horizontally arranged in the longitudinal direction, a flexible sheet 16 for transporting boiled rice doubling as folding it and putting a laver sheet 55 and a fixed quantity of boiled rice 8b thereon and installed between both the upper molds 14 and 15, a bottom mold 17 having inclined parts 29 and 30 inclined from middle to above outside at the same angle, a driving mechanism 5 which longitudinally moves both the upper molds 14 and 15, and a driving mechanism 6 which operates the lower mold 17 up and down; wherein a plurality of oblong opening parts 23 and 33 and oblong boltlike plates 24 and 34 are alternately and correspondingly set on both the upper molds 14 and 15 and the lower mold 17 so that the upper molds 14 and 15 and the lower mold 17 are engaged with each other. |
