PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the corrosion of a process-saving weatherable steel capable of maintaining anticorrosive property and weatherability for a long time and capable of performing an optional coloring. SOLUTION: An anticorrosive film of thickness 30 to 80μm containing a metallic particle selected from a group comprising aluminum, zinc and their alloy is formed on a weatherable steel in the first step, in the next step, a colored organo polysiloxane series top coat where a hydrolyzed condensate of organosilane (A) expressed by the general formula, R<1> n Si(OR<2> )4-n [wherein, R<1> is a 1-8C organic group, and R<2> is a 1-6C alkyl group and (n) is an integer of 0 to 2.] and a curing catalyst (B) are contained and a film with gloss retention of 80% or higher after an irradiation is performed with an accelerative weatherability test sun shine weatherometer for 400 hours is formed is painted on the film formed in the first step so as to allow a dried film thickness to be 20 to 40μm and the film is dried.
