PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at low cost a bearing device for driving a road wheel in which a looseness is not generated in a coupling part even when a large moment load acts on the device, accurate preload control is performed, and suitable preload amount is obtained. SOLUTION: This bearing device for the driving road wheel is constituted by unitize a hub ring 1, rolling bearings 2 of plural lines, and an outside joint member 14 of a constant velocity universal joint 3. The hub ring 1, the rolling bearings 2, and the outside joint member 14 are outwardly fitted to a cylindrical coupling member 18. The rolling bearings 2 are held by the hub ring 1 and the outside joint member 14, and the cylindrical coupling member 18 is radially enlarged to be bite into irregularities 6, 17 respectively formed to the hub ring 1 and an inner periphery of the outside joint member 14, thereby plastically coupling the hub ring 1 and the outside joint member 14 to each other.
