PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-treating tool by which hair can be easily and quickly taken in a tubular body. SOLUTION: This hair-treating tool 1 is equipped with a long shape hair retainer 2 and a hair inserter 3 with a hook part 10 on the tip end. The tool 1 is used in a condition that the hook part 10 of the hair inserter 3 is retained facing the hair intake port 4 of the hair retainer 2. The hair intake port 4 and parts in the vicinity thereof are made rigid higher than other parts on the hair retainer 2. The hook part 10 on the hair inserter 3 is a loop with the circumferential length longer than that of the hair intake port 4 and the hook part 10 is made deformable.
