PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper standing pouch whose paper in the vicinity of the bonded part of a spout does not rupture at the time the spout is to be attached thereto by the heat-seal method. SOLUTION: The standing pouch is characterized in that its main container body is constituted of Clupak paper or crepe paper whose elongation percentage in vertical direction according to JIS P8113 is from 4 to 10% and a spout is attached thereto.
