PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise generated in a car air-conditioning unit and operate the car air conditioner more efficiently. SOLUTION: The car air-conditioning unit 1 comprises an evaporator 4 for cooling air sent into a casing 2 by a blower, a heater 6 disposed in the rear of the evaporator 4 for heating the cold air in the downstream of the evaporator, a dividing means 8 disposed in the rear of the heater 6 for sending the hot air from the heater 6 upward to be mixed with the cold air from the evaporator 4 having passed above the heater 6, and a guide means 11 for sending the cold air, hot air or mixed air thereof flowing over the upper end part 10 of the dividing means 8 downward to be blown out. The surface 30 of the upper end part of the dividing means 8 has a streamlined shape or a curved shape so that the air current passing over the upper end part 10 flows along the surface 30 of the upper end part.
