PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding mold and a mold clamping method in the injection molding mold which suppresses a cost increase and solve an issue of a biased wear in a precision mold. SOLUTION: When a mold clamping mechanism operates at molding and a movable side holder 2 moves toward a fixed side holder 1, a fixed side insert 62 arranged at a fixed side mold plate 60 and a movable side insert 70 arranged at a movable side mold plate 61A fit each other by abutting. It results in determining a position by automatically adjusting a center at low load and a concave portion 66 of the fixed side insert 62 and a concave portion 71 of the movable side insert 70 form a cavity. When the movable side holder 2 moves resisting each coil spring 73, a space between the movable side mold plate 61A and a mounting plate 61B is eliminated and the mold clamping operation is completed.
