At least a receiver 4 is provided to the 1st casing 2A and at least a display device 6 is provided to the 2nd casing 2B. Through the constitution above, even when a portable telephone set having a function such as an electronic notebook with an electronic memo function is busy, a display panel of the display device 6 is well observed and the intelligent function use keys 10 are easily operated.
