PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light-weight and highly strong guide member with a precise through hole for an automotive suspension device to be integrally formed for the manufacture. SOLUTION: A projecting part projecting upward/downward is formed by the bulging process at lease at one end of a pipe by inserting a pipe material into a die for molding and applying the hydraulic pressure to the die, and a through hole is bored on the upper and lower faces of the projecting part.
